About me
I am an enthusiastic full-stack software engineer with an extensive background in healthcare as a nurse manager.
I build and design software solutions to solve real-world problems.
With over 13 years of nursing experience, I have seen the need and the demand for technological solutions within the healthcare industry. Having worked in the healthcare industry and now as a software engineer, I have been on both sides of the equation. I can easily identify with clients in the healthcare industry and understand those who build these complex solutions. I am also looking into transitioning into other industries that interest me. I thrive in fast-paced environments, challenges, and environments where I am given autonomy. I am a goal-oriented person and love to get things done efficiently!
I spend most of my free time learning different programming languages and technologies. I have advanced skills in Java and continuously learn the Spring framework. A few other tools I learned are C#, React, .Net, MySQL, Apache Airflow, Mirth Connect, Jenkins, Kubernetes, etc. I have built several solo projects, including a full-stack web application, core Java programs, and several Android apps. I have also successfully acquired my AWS Developer Associate certification.
